Beth Hart is a Los Angeles native and blues-singing rock singer. She performed on the streets and began her career with Immortal in the year 1995. Her raw, outspoken persona, musicianship, and emotional live performances have attracted the attention of fans. Chuck Taylor wrote that Hart was "the epitome for natural women" in the October 2nd, 1999 issue of Billboard magazine. Hart is "bawdy and funny, chatty and free-spirited with her choice to spiced language. But that's a lot of white bread when contrasted with her onstage presence which is where the tall and gaunt singer/songwriter struts and squalls through songs with the intensity of Mick Jagger ....
