Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Having caught the public's attention in 2010 through her hits "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" British vocalist Ellie Goulding quickly climbed to the top of the charts with her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream, and an aptitude for writing emotional songs with positive lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of modern mainstream pop and artistic independent music. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a recording deal. Her debut album was set to release.
