Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American as well as a Canadian musician and singer. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music is classified as alternative rock and folk. Yet, they contain influences from jazz hip-hop punk and the funk genre. Ani DiFranco is the first person to create her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd of 1970, the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco whom she had been in contact while at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother was born in Montreal and her father has Italian roots. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The song was released on her album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995.
