Coleman is a Lancashire native. She was headgirl of Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A-levels. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman revealed that she regrets not having had a typical University experience. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while in school. She was a part of the group in the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. Her performance was rewarded as well as the show was given praise from the audience. In the course of auditioning at drama schools Coleman landed the part of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated in 2007 for two Awards. At the British Soap Awards she was nominated as Best Newcomer and at the National Television Awards she was awarded the title of Most Popular Newcomer. At the 2009 British Soap Awards she was nominated for categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman got a nomination in the category of Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor after Arthur Darvill left the series will be taking on the role with Matt Smith. Moffat selected her because of how well she complemented Smith and the fact that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has participated in TV and film projects. There is no doubt that she is more influential on television projects than film. Eva is well-known for her role as Doctor. Eva is a philanthropist, as well as an businesswoman.
