Dua Lipa is an English singer-songwriter was born in London on 22 August 1995. In 2014, following a career as a model and actress, she signed with Warner Bros Records. She released her debut self-titled album in the year 2017. The album reached the top 3 spot at the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. This included Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. Dua Lipa was born the 22nd of August, 1995 in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Her maternal grandmother is Bosnian. Her ancestors are also traced back to Kosovo cities of Peja. Both of her grandparents were historians. Her sisters are Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa's father, the musician and lead singer from the Kosovan band Oda, influenced her musically. At home her father continued to play music such as his personal compositions and songs composed by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa started singing when she was five. When she was nine years old, Lipa started singing at her school, the Sylvia Young Theater School.
