Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta in November 25th, 1968. She is one of Canada's richest and most well-known TV Actresses. She was a part of Law and Order alongside Chris Noth. Hennessy is from Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy worked as a meat vendor and marketing executive. It was a job that required frequent travel which meant that the Hennessy family was frequently moved. Maxine, her secretary mother left the family when she moved into Kitchener Ontario in 1982. Her daughter was then turned over to her grandmother Eleanor. She has a younger brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. and an identical twin sister Jacqueline, who is a writer for magazines and television host from Canada. Hennessy is of Irish French Swedish and Italian ancestry on her father's side, and mainly Ukrainian Roma as well as Austrian heritage on her mother's side. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to act in Toronto's subway. Hennessy was twins in Dead Ringers with her older sister. According to Gillian Anderson, the actress who took the lead role she was shortlisted to play the role as Dana Scully in The X-Files. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two sons.
